Project Overview:
Viino approached us in 2024 citing a lack of cohesion among their line of viral wines made famous during the Covid-19 pandemic in inner city Melbourne. They had outgrown their home delivery model as the world re-opened and were looking to develop a design system that felt more predictable and alive without sanitising the essence that makes their brand great. With the illustration provided by Daisy Watson, we set out to create a single wrap-around label that would be useful for this project, as well as for other grape varietal applications in future. Contemporary with a mixture of rigid and curvilinear design across three distinct panels, we set out to allure and communicate in a duo-toned landscape of warmth and invitation. An orange wine, we thought we'd evoke a sense of summer occasion by selecting red and yellow as our colours of choice, befitting a product best enjoyed outside with friends.
